MARKETING CO-ORDINATOR – FULL TIME
About the business and the role
Robinsons Bookshop is Victoria's oldest general independent bookshop. With recent rapid growth we are looking to build our store support team and as such are looking for an outstanding Marketing Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team at our offices in Carrum Downs. The role is suited to a hands-on person who has a record of delivering on marketing initiatives and likes a busy work environment.

Job tasks and responsibilities:
Reporting to the owners, this role is responsible for a broad range of marketing and visual merchandisinginitiatives across the company working closely with our Inventory team, stores and Production Assistant (also being advertised).

You will be responsible for devising and implementing marketing, monitoring and reporting back on the success of various marketing initiatives including:
• Social media posts: generateand publish content across social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) and monitor success
• Visual Merchandising: planograms and posters for stores, checking execution of plans and providing assistance/coaching to store teams to improve their VM capabilities
• Facilitate shopping centre social media & website posts/listings and checking execution
• Updating website to reflect current merchandise/events/activations using materials prepared by production assistant
• Local free marketing
• Radio advertising
• PR/Press releases
• Paid ad boards
• Event support and management
• Directing Production Assistant in relation to marketing materials required
• Work closely with the Inventory team to co-ordinate the marketing calendar in line with “hero” books each month


Skills and experience:
To be successful in this role you will have the following attributes:
• A passion for books
• Great communications skills and be able to forge strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Must be highly organised
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Some experience with Adobe products in particular InDesign to support Production Assistant if necessary
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work to autonomously to tight deadlines
• Marketing qualifications will be highly regarded
• Experience with HTML website coding would be advantageous
• Event management experience is preferred


Recent marketing graduates will be considered.

WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT
About the business and the role:
Robinsons Bookshop is Victoria's oldest general independent bookshop. We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant at our head office in Carrum Downs to support the fast and efficient processing of incoming and outgoing stock whilst assisting the owners and Inventory Team supervise and coordinate the activities of the Receiving Team to ensure the smooth running of the department. This role is suited to someone with a high level of attention to detail in addition to being extremely organised.

Job tasks and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator and Inventory Team the role is responsible for undertaking the following tasks:
• Receipt and order verification of incoming stock
• Splitting and allocating stock
• E-Invoicing and manual invoicing
• Printing relevant stickering
• Stickering stock
• Ensuring warehouse is clean, neat and tidy
• Communicating stock quantities to appropriate individuals to ensure appropriate warehouse resources are rostered

Skills and experience:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following attributes:
• Must be highly organised
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Extremely punctual and reliable
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and delivery schedules
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy boxes

JUNIOR CASUAL WAREHOUSE ASSISTANTS - Carrum Downs Head Office
We are currently seeking multiple junior casual warehouse assistants. This position is responsible for the correct unboxing, stickering and reboxing of books under the direction of the Warehouse Co-ordinator. Casual after school hours are available Mon-Thu from 4/5pm-8/9pm (2 - 3 nights) as well as occasional weekends. You must be able to work autonomously and have a great attention to detail. Reliability is a key attribute for this role. Please note that junior wages shall apply.
